Betta RutilansMy Betta rutilans juveniles are coming along well now. There are a few runts that have to catch up to the others, but they are looking very much like replicas of their father and older siblings. I also have this supposed full sibling of theirs that I am starting to suspect is not a rutilans at all. I think perhaps it is Betta brownorum but the lack of the green lateral spot makes me unsure.

Are you sure that it is not Betta Tussyae ?

Hi Piwye, not a chance of this fish being a tussyae. My tussyae pair only gave me one surviving adult male before passing away and the only fish that were ever in that grow-out were the rutilans and that single brownorum fry. Comments are closed.
