Not 100% sure. Probably in the 6-8 month old bracket at least. He's basically fully grown. Just looks smaller in the photo.

Thanks for that. My are 3 months old now and are starting to color up a small bit now. I was just wondering were they behind or not but it seems not. Thanks again

Wild bettas tend to grow a lot more slowly than their captive bred counterparts. Plus I prefer my fish to grow slowly. I think things like power-feeding etc. cause unnaturally fast growth and while it may be good for the breeder to get them sold and gone, I do wonder what impact this has on the longevity of the fish.
